San Pedro cactus

The San Pedro cactus has 2 varieties under the names Pachanoi and Peruvianus. San Pedro is one of many mescaline-containing cacti that have been used by various cultures and originals for years. Dried San Pedro contains approximately 2.375% mescaline. However, it also contains other alkaloids such as tyramine, hordenine, 3-methoxytyramine, anhalaninine and anhalonidine.

Usage and Dosage:

A usual dose of mescaline is about 300 mg. 25 grams of dried san pedro cactus contains about such a dose. Take 15 grams for a milder trip and 30+ grams for a stronger trip. If you don’t want to dry them, then you need 150 grams of fresh peyote for a mild trip. But we don’t recommend that.

You can simply eat the dried san pedro, but just like with truffles/shrooms you can also make tea from it. To do this, dissolve 15 to 25 grams of dried san pedro in a cup of water that is just off the boil.

Peyote is not exactly delicious, the taste is even very bitter. Most people often get nauseous before the symptoms of the trip start.
