Note: this is an extract, it contains a much higher dose of the active substances than the normal kanna powder.
Information:
The effect of Canna or Sceletium tortuosum can be discribed as moodenhancer and provides a sense of connection, while relieving anxious feelings. In higher dosages it can cause a euphoric feeling, initially with stimulation and later with relaxation. Some users have noted enhanced tactile and sexual response. The most active constituents of Sceletium tortuosum are mesembrine, mesembrenone, mesembrenol and tortuosamine. Mesembrine, the major alkaloid present, is a serotonin-uptake inhibitor (SSRI). We have to warn users because Sceletium Tortuosum is a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI). It should not be combined with other SSRI’s (Seroxat, Prozac) or Mono Oxidase Inhibitors (MAO-I), such as Syrian Rue (Peganum harmala), Banisteriopsis Caapi, Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata), Yohimbe, and certain anti-depressants. Always take this warning into account. And now we have this Kanna UC extract available. This extract contains a much higher dose of the active substance than other kanna products which makes the famous “kanna-chilling-effect” much stronger.
Warnings:
a. Do not combine with MAO inhibitors
b. Use in a relaxed and familiar setting
c. Do not mix with alcohol or other drugs
d. Do not participate in traffic or other concentration demanding activities
e. Kanna is a selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor
